    Hmm hey Lauri what if you put a fire cracker in side then pull a vacuum in it and set the fire cracker of will it first explode then implode?

    You could try mounting a pneumatic cylinder in the bottom of the aquarium, then use it to break the vacuum chamber. Then you don't have any external issues such as knocking the vacuum chamber sideways or introducing air like you did with the shovel. You should be able to achieve a much better video of the implosion that way.
    For extra effect, you could also use a chamber made of tinted glass so that the implosion is even more visible against the water.
